Granny is a hype game that has become terribly popular lately. More than 10 million users have downloaded it from Google Play.
The game doesn’t have a lot of customization or super modern graphics. As there are no high-polygonal beauties, Granny runs well even on budget Android devices. The game has gained an unprecedented popularity due to acceptable parameters such as battery consumption, device hardware requirements and software size.
A character is captured by a crazy old woman and he has to do everything to break free. The protagonist’s goal is to open the doors, but to do so he’ll have to search all the rooms for items that will help him do so. The player will only have 5 days (lives) at his disposal. In the first two levels you can get one more for certain actions.
The old woman never sleeps and is always on the lookout for what’s going on in life. She checks for any sound, and there’s plenty to make – creaking doors, battering objects and the like. If something accidentally breaks, you should hide and wait for the owner of the house to calm down.
If the encounter with the granny happens, she will beat the protagonist with a truncheon and one life will be deducted from the account. After he comes to his senses, the character’s health will deteriorate with each passing day.
The old lady is not the only danger in the protagonist’s path. There is a hole in the floor in the attic, and the player will lose a life by falling into it. It’s also worth being careful not to fall into a wolf trap.
The game will end after the character meets Granny for the fifth time.
There are four difficulty levels in the game:
Finding the key is helped by a variety of items that are randomly placed throughout the flat. Many of the items are of no use whatsoever.
There is one problem – the user does not have a bag to put their inventory in, and can only hold one thing in their hands. But things can be left in one place to return there for what is needed.
Even though the game doesn’t have any particular horror elements, it can still keep the user in suspense for a long time. Granny makes you constantly think – about solving different problems, looking for ideas and also remembering the old woman.
It’s not a bad game – it’s quite easy to control, works even on budget devices, and the randomness factor allows you to pass with interest as many times as you like. If you wish, the available ads can be turned off for a fee.
