“First of all, let me say what a nice-looking fan this is. I spent too much time picking the decor for my little abode to want to have an ugly fan sitting around! Of course, right now, I have it sitting in the doorway of my bedroom (classy, I know!) because I’m seeing how well it cools the room down. As for the rest of the positives:

This fan is SOOOO quiet that, at first, I doubted that it would be very cooling. I was wrong. Once I got this assembled (very easy, btw) & figured out the controls (not too hard), I turned my AC off! LOL Being from Alaska, this Iowa heat and humidity is taking some getting used to.

Also, I’m not very familiar with AC and the costs (except for a horrendous bill in Arizona several years back). My apartment is a nice-sized 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and living room. There is a ceiling fan in bedroom, but at night, it still can get warm. Since this fan is doing so great at cooling the whole front of the apartment, I plan to put it in doorway of bedroom during the nights.

With my AC off right now, I am totally comfortable. It’s only 75 degrees out this morning, so I will see how well this helps when the temps rise (the other day, it was around 90). Even if I have to use this in conjunction with AC, I will be able to power the AC down a bit to help with the bill.

By the way, having a remote will be super nice – when I get the AAA batteries that were not included. A plus is that the remote stores so neatly in the back of the fan.

NOTE: For assembly, it’s easier it you follow the pictures/directions on the box flap rather than using the booklet. The booklet makes it seem more complicated than it really is.”

“This fan was a “treat yo self” item to replace this sad oscillating fan I previously had from Food 4 Less on sale and frankly I regret nothing about this purchase!

I originally purchased this due to my previous fan not being strong enough – I couldn’t feel a significant breeze when it passed by me. I didn’t buy this specifically because it had an ionizer but because I needed something more powerful and less clunky.

Now my room is HUMID for so many reasons: huge old furniture in a tiny room, stale air with no circulation and even when I leave my window open for days the humidity never leaves because there is a tree right outside of it blocking any nice summer breezes.

My room is UNBEARABLE. Especially when I have hot flashes, I am dying at night since I can get super easily hot and uncomfortable. With that being said this fan does THE JOB.

It is powerful and helps the circulation in my room. I always kept the fan in my room on not because I was hot but to circulate the stale air in my room to avoid my allergies going insane and this fan automatically makes my room feel fresh! My room does not feel as humid and I am in love with this fan!

I love that the fan comes with a remote but sadly it requires AAA batteries which is a downside to me because I never have AAA batteries handy only AA. But setting up this fan was quite easy!

Funny little advice: if you are tiny please set this up with another person. I am 5’2 and I didn’t realize how tall this tower fan was until I tried to shimmy it out of the box by myself and shook it so hard I smacked myself in the face with the ridiculously tall box. Plus the tower fan is so long that setting up the base on the floor was slightly inconvenient. Setting up the fan is quite self explanatory and very easy to do. This fan is easily almost taller than me and almost defeated me due to height.

Do not let my salty opinions discourage you. This fan is great! One other quirk about this is that on its lowest setting it is a bit noisy. I am used to sleeping with a tv on or the radio so be aware of this. Its not super loud but I know some people are very sensitive to noises when sleeping and do not factor this in. It is tolerable for someone like me to sleep while this is on the lowest setting because it just becomes background noise to me and if you are like me and can sleep to tv noises then this shouldn’t be a problem. It has a timer anyways in case you worry about turning it off.

I hope you like it as much as I do!”

  • 【NIGHT MODE】 Night Mode to Turn Off the Screen at Night, While Still in Use.
  • 【TWO CONFIGURATIONS】 Measures 42-Inch Off the Ground with Pedestal, OR Attach Fan Directly to The Base

Actual User Experience

“My order and delivery were excellent. You have to assemble the base to the tower. Requires a Phillip’s screw driver. Very simple.

The fan is tall but has small footprint on the floor. It has 3 speeds, oscillates, variable speed setting labeled “nature”, and “sleep” mode although the lowest fan speed could be lower still in my opinion.

The upright fan design shapes the moving air vertically, and easily moves air around the boundaries
of a 12 x 18 ft. room even on low speed. The moving air seems to be more cohesive than air from a window fan.

While operating in oscillating mode, fan covers an 80 degree angle and will cover entire room. Speed of oscillation is adjustable.

The fan has off and on switch, plus 12 hour timer and the noise is lower than a 20″ window fan. On high speed this fan moves air better than a ceiling fan and is just as quiet or quieter.

Comes with a remote control and a pleasant multi colored digital display which responds to the remote. Parts are lightweight plastic. Unit could be fragile. Unit is easy to carry and move.

Remote uses 2 AAA batteries. Batteries were included.

“This works as advertised, and had another “excellent” recommendation from other reviews I had read. It is, as stated in the other reviews here, a very good, sturdy, and loaded-with-options fan.

The remote is just a bonus…. We bought ours 1 year ago, has been used by my always-hot-wife every night (that we’ve been home, which is most), and all is still working superbly.

And, not that it matters to some, I am ordering another one for the living room after I finish this review.

Great fan – good price.“

Actual User Experience

“This fan works wonderfully. It is full of features like various oscillating angles, timer settings, and a remote. There is even a breeze setting, that mimics a natural breeze by fluctuating air flow.

As far as speed settings, they all work great. This thing can really move some air and cools my large living room very nicely.

The first time I used it, dust bunnies were being dislodged from their hiding places. I purchased this to use in the aftermath of a hurricane but didn’t lose power, so I don’t know how it cools in a hot environment.

Very happy with this purchase!
