Ingress is an augmented reality game where you have to go to specific real locations and hack portals. It’s a very interesting game, but not everyone can figure out how to play it right away.

• To fully immerse yourself in Ingress you will need:
• A portable Android or iOS device;
• A working GPS unit;
• A stable mobile internet connection.

The essence of the game Ingress prime

A strange energy enters this dimension, which brings different changes to people’s minds. Now the player must choose one of the available sides:

• Resistance. The colour is blue. The opponents of the unknown energy enter;
• Enlightened. The colour is green. Advocates of energy coming through the portal enter.

The fight is for units of mind. Everything unfolds in the real world – perhaps the supermarket down the street or the barbershop around the corner is already a portal.

About the main thing: portals

Portals, through which energy enters this reality, come in the following colours:

• Blue – controlled by the resistance;
• Green – controlled by the enlightened;
• Grey – neutral territory.

To gain control of a grey transition, a resonator must be attached to it. Destroying an enemy resonator will gain control of their crossing.

The maximum number of resonators is 8. You can make upgrades, both your own and those of others.

Hacking through the portal the player can get items that he will need to perform a variety of actions. To do so, go to the gateway to the other world at a distance of 35 meters, tap on the “hack” button and get the “pluses”. It’s worth noting that this action is not infinite.

If you wish, you can become an advanced hacker for a while and use glyphs that allow you to get more pluses and points.

Mana in Ingress prime: easy ways to get

Exotic Matter, loosely known as “mana”, is needed to carry out a variety of actions in the game. This enters through portals and is deposited in blue orbs on the ground.

Mana is spent on different actions – a lot is spent to replenish the energy of your portals and to attack enemy portals.

Lines and Fields: How to get a unit of intelligence

Factions control some territories, the amount of points you gain directly depends on the area you occupy. Three portals must be connected in a triangle in order to capture an area. It’s worth noting that not all portals are suitable for this purpose:

• The number of resonators per portal is 8;
• The presence of a key for each transition;
• The line between portals must not cross with other lines;
• The distance of the line depends on the level of the portal.

Portal mods to Ingress prime

You can set a maximum of 4 mods on your own transition:

• Protective ones are put on to reduce damage to the portal;
• Attacking is set to increase the damage to the enemy crossing;
• Lengthening;
• To hack the portal more often, Improving Hacking is used.

Weapons: Available Weapons

• XMP Burster – Can be obtained more often, affects more area;
• Ultra strike – much rarer to get, but powerful, point-blank damage;
• Virus – the rarest weapon. You can change the portal colour.

Levels: Ways to Upgrade

A player’s level affects his strength, the power of his weapons and resonators, and the amount of mana. The important point is that levels can be improved and there are several ways to do so:

• Creating links and fields;
• Destroying enemy transitions;
• Capturing a portal that doesn’t belong to anyone.

Ingress is a very good game that users should definitely pay attention to. It’s not just a game on a handheld device; it’s an excuse to walk down the street, meet new people and have a good time.
